It's normal for a malay wedding to have a "resthouse" for the bridegroom if he happens to be from out of town . The rest house, besides for the bridegroom and entourage to rest for a while after a long journey, it'll also be used to get other things done and prepared before the "bersanding" ceremony. Our house had several times been used for such occasion by our uncles and unties cum mom's sibling (probably because of the location, which is walking distance to their houses) .It was just yesterday our house turned to a "resthouse" again for my cousin brother 's daughter wedding event. The entourage of 4 cars and a van was from Teluk Intan Perak..Bee Wee our little kitten seemed to be the centre of attraction for the kids of the entourage..poor kitten!! he must had never expected he'll be cornered by the kids and for the first time must have felt unsafe in his own territory "Padan muka BeeWee..siapa suruh nak gurau2 sesangat dgn bebudak tu..".(my son was saying when I informed him about BeeWee's traumatised experience . He (my son) was actually in the library when the entourage stopped by

Finally, after 45 days, Sufiah Hanum Azwar, newly-borned great grand child of mom arrived in Kl all the way from Malacca yesterday, Friday the 3rd of November. Just like any other young parents, the happy parent, Arin and Azwar attend to Hanum their first lovely baby girl with full of love and care Hanum reminded me of her uncle Hadee cum my first child.... borned so tiny, weighing only 2.5 kg but after 17 years had gained over 70 kg Well, though Hanum looks tiny/small, she's really tough and healthy and I felt "the weight" after sometimes carrying her. Hanum and her mother are so fortunate to have grandmother and mother respectively, to look after them!! A bonus for them as their grandmother and mother cum my sister was a trained retired srn nurse!!
*missed to meet-up with my beloved sis,and the rest of the family members who had left minutes before I arrived home from work.
see more of Hanum here

Eid-il-Fitri: days before;Eve of Eid and the Eid proper
Two days before the Eid-il-Fitri I sautered along Jln Melayu to observe muslims' last minutes preparation at the Ramadhan's Bazaar. The next day that was a day before, our house is all set to receive guests from the closeby surau for the Takbir recital during the Eve of Eid. There were roughly 30 guests arrived just before the breaking of last day of fasting month. The moment azan heard, all the guests were invited for a simple buffet spread, followed by maghrib prayer and Eid's takbir. On the first day of Eid, families of brothers and sisters were already at home sweet home except for the one in Malacca who has to look after a newly borned granddaughter To Kak Ngah..we miss you...
There are quite a number of images uploaded, but if you're in a hurry just see the last few images iof me n hubby clowning on the first day of eid

Feeling on top of the world
Amongst the evidences of "their" existence
Rules are meant to be broken??
Naaah..I didn't win any lucky draw nor winning first place in any photography contest This feeling is God's Gift, I thank Allah, the Al-Mighty for making me feel so happy, for making me feel as though I'm a mother of many children though in reality I have only two...It's hard to describe this feeling in words but the existence of "adopted children" in my life, especially yesterday, towards end of Ramadhan, when they came to break fast and unexpectedly joined this morning's sahur too..had really made me feel on top of the world....
An evidence of adopted children's existance..
Aha..crime scene...evidence of rules being broken by OWN children ...and Guess who's the ring leader??none other than their own father

What I've discovered in the wee hours of two mornings??
The Eid is just around the corner, this is the time we do spring cleaning at home. We actually have yet to do thorough cleaning but for the past two mornings, just before l left to work I had inspected the unkept garden and the backyards respectively. Guess what I'd discovered on the first day of inspection?? The wild orchirds that we bought in Bentong,Pahang from the aborigine sometimes ago are blooming..beautiful really beautiful. Then I saw something moving and thought it was a squirrel but it wasn't , it was our naughty kitten by the name of BeeWee. I wonder what he was doing in the wee hour jumping here and there The second day, that was this morning again I discovered something...naah..no more beautiful orchids but the ugly scenes of the backyards... Things hanging here and there, the plants and wild grass mixed, there are so many unpleasant discoveries...and again BeeWee was there too...see to believe it
The wild orchird
BeeWee peeping..
Art of hanging things..Satoniii..oh..Satoniiiiii (satuni is our maid )

Ha Ha Ha..I've been watched!!!
I love street and candid photographies, taking pictures un-posed and unplanned, immediate and unobtrusive. in other word, taking pictures of people off-guard or without their knowledge. But you know what??I, myself became victim of candid shots here and there mostly by the members of FMDC I had downloaded quite a number of pictures candidly shot by them from their fp or some given to me . The shots were mostly from FMDC's activities that I had participated and some shots were of Adeeba's
To the owners/photographers of the pictures uploaded here...thank you. Though pictures taken by various camera systems/made, all have high quality..I envy all of you ..and thank you once again for candidly captured the moments

She was born on 27 of June 2006, and was exactly 3 months when she first visited her adopted Tok Ma in Sungai Penchala yesterday, the September 27th. Her parents, Zul aka Zzoux and Wan were supposed to be on time for the breaking of fast together with us at home but were few minutes late than scheduled The children, hubby, mom and maid who were initially waited for them to arrive had to break fast without them. Anyway, they arrived just minutes after that and were wondering where were the rest of the family members..and I told them they're already in the kitchen..and the guests had to break fast without them except me , on the dining cum study table located not far from the hall. Padan muka siapa suruh lambat sampai...
The first pic was photographed by me the second was by Zul ..silap tulis by Zain lak..sorry Zul mama sasul tu...btw, thank you for imparting the flash zoom burst's technique to mama..sempat ngajau tu si Zul nih...

**DEi.. sini bukan timpat order kuih raya daaah...blakang aci sindiri kasi order itu sama wurang kasi bikin...
A day before the fasting month, we decided to visit Marlia, our adopted daughter's (Bibie's) kid sis who has been in UiTM for the pass three months. We were unable to visit her earlier when she first came to Puncak Perdana all the way from Sabah due to workload and other unavoidable reasons. We arrived at her college almost noon and took her "jalan2" until late evening Adeeba and Hadee seemed to enjoy having another new "Kakak" .from Sabah...
*We hope you had great time with us Marlia...
